Stock Selloff Eases After $3 Trillion Rout

The selloff in US stocks faded, with dip buyers moving in to support the bruised artificial-intelligence trade after the S&P 500’s steepest drop in more than a year. Futures for the US benchmark rose 0.6% after worries about the prospect of tighter regulation of data centers wiped around $3 trillion off the index in the previous session. The Nasdaq 100 was also set to pare some of Thursday’s 6.4% loss, with contracts rising 1.8%. The Opening Trade has everything you need to know as markets open across Europe. With analysis you won't find anywhere else, we break down the biggest stories of the day and speak to top guests who have skin in the game. Hosted by Anna Edwards, Guy Johnson and Tom Mackenzie.
